Verity Hogan is the Personal Finance Editor for Young Car Driver, helping oversee our content on car finance, insurance, consumer credit and money decisions that affect young drivers. She holds an NCTJ Diploma in Magazine Journalism and has a strong background in clear, consumer-focused financial content.

Since joining Young Car Driver in 2023, Verity has helped shape, write and review content covering car finance, credit, affordability, budgeting and insurance. Her work focuses on making technical or jargon-heavy subjects easier to understand, especially for young drivers and first-time buyers who may be making these decisions for the first time.

Before joining Young Car Driver, Verity was Head of Content and Communications at Car Finance 247. Her wider work includes consumer finance and automotive content for platforms such Carmoola as Ocean Finance, as well as content strategy and communications work for brands including Swift, Cazoo, Aegon UK and Western Union.
