Geoff leads the strategy and editorial direction of Young Car Driver, shaping every guide to be accurate, clear, and genuinely helpful for drivers aged 16 to 25. He has contributed to or reviewed most of the site’s learning and insurance content and works closely with the editorial team to maintain high standards across the board.
Through Autedia Ltd, Geoff is an FCA-authorised credit broker under limited permissions — specialising in consumer hire and hire purchase agreements, the standard forms of UK car finance. He is also an Introducer Appointed Representative for car insurance via Seopa Ltd. As the firm’s designated SMF29, he is personally responsible for FCA compliance and regulated partnerships.
Geoff helped shape Young Car Driver around one clear principle: young drivers deserve honest, practical, no-faff advice they can actually use — without pressure or confusing jargon.
Before launching Young Car Driver, Geoff built a career in the construction and PFI procurement industries. His passion for improving access to clear, independent advice — particularly around car insurance and buying — led to the creation of the site and its continued growth.
