When will driving lessons resume – Corona virus?

anxiety before driving tests

The UK Government’s latest easing of the COVID-19 lockdown came yesterday when Boris Johnson stated that you can now drive somewhere for exercise without any limits. Two households can meet in groups of up to 6 people while still maintaining the strict social distancing rules of 2 metres.

We saw that from 1 June car showrooms are allowed to reopen, again with social distancing rules to be followed. No information about driving lessons following their suspension from 30 March for three months. Due to the apparent difficulty maintaining 2 metres between the instructor and student.

The only exception to this is key-workers who can receive in-car driving lessons during the lockdown.

We expect an update from the UK Government on 30 June.

In the meantime, hit the study material, read our section on driving test nerves and driving test tips.
